Verbena bonariensis AGM
This graceful, herbaceous perennial is a classic feature of cottage gardens. It looks ethereal among grasses in a prairie scheme, and is drought-tolerant. Tight clusters of small lavender-purple flowers appear to float on the tall, branching stems of this airy plant, and are extremely attractive to butterflies.
- Pot size: 2L/3L
- Height and Spread: 250cm (8ft) x 50cm (1ft 7in) over 5 years

Perfectly positioned in the middle of the border, it floats above lower growing plants, and it also looks out of this world against a wall, or shimmering above a dark hedge. It is easy to grow and suits both informal and formal gardens. A recipient of the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit), for all round excellence in the garden.
