Porter & Carry To Car

We are looking for a Porter to support the Company's stock management process across the entire Store. This is a very busy, hands on and physically demanding role.

You will have responsibility for the movement of stock from our Goods In Department to the salesfloor, alongside any layout changes, so you will be liaising with all Department Managers on a daily basis. Alongside this, you will also be on hand to assist customers with carrying larger and heavy purchases to their car after purchase.

Please note that this is a full time role and will require regular weekend working

• Proactive and swift removal of trolleys and packaging waste from the shop floor and Café
• Movement of stock from Goods In Department to the wider Shop Floor
• Assisting in large scale moves on the Shop Floor
• Assisting customers with carrying heavy shopping to their car post purchase
• Collecting customer trollies from car park and returning to the dedicated trolley bay

• Good communication skills
• A flexible and helpful attitude, and a willingness to get stuck in where needed
• The ability to multi-task, be happy to adjust priorities and tasks in line with changing business demands, and be able to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities.
• A level of fitness that reflects the highly physical nature of this role
