Tree Planting, Care and Pruning Workshop with 'Frank P Matthews'

Are you looking to introduce trees to your garden, but unsure of where to begin? Have you tried and failed to establish or train trees already growing at home? Whether just starting your tree planting and care journey, or looking to brush up on rusty skills, join us for a very special treat as we welcome Sophie Lewis for a morning of insightful tree knowledge.

We will begin the morning with a 45 minute presentation to cover how to choose the right tree for your space, how to approach planting, and further care and pruning guidance. After this, there will be a chance for a well earned slice of cake and cup of tea or coffee, all included within your ticket price. Once rejuvenated, it will be time to head out to our Tree Collection to look more practically at varieties, shapes and training ideas to continue at home.

Limited tickets are available at a price of £60, inclusive of your two hour workshop, tea and cake, and a £30.00 Gift Voucher to spend on the day, to put towards purchasing a tree of your choice, or tools from our Garden Shop.

We would also advise wrapping up extra warm, as we expect the weather may be rather chilly!

No former experience is required to attend our sessions, as these are aimed as an introductory approach to tree care and pruning, with the chance to ask any questions you may have.
