How To: Create a Joyful Easter Table
We are revelling in the arrival of spring with abundant colour, crisp linen whites and plenty of nods to the botanical, to create our celebratory Easter table.
When deciding on your table design, it is often easiest to start with statement pieces and work outwards. Here, we have layered bright, gingham style crockery from our Wonki Ware range, which we love for its daffodil reminiscent colourways. By giving them a clean, white linen base with our tablecloth, complemented with tapered candles, the colours pop whilst keeping the tablescape fresh.
Continuing our botanical theme, our mystical Rambling Vine Etched Glassware and spellbinding Misty Tree Candle Holders add elegance and wonder to the scene.
Almost ready to hop down the garden path, follow our mini guide below to discover how to create these sweet floppy-eared table places, finished with a little treat inside…

Creating festive, bunny-eared table places
- Take a square napkin, and fold in half to create a triangle
- Turn the folded edge to face you, then fold the top ‘corner’ of the triangle straight down to meet the folded edge
- Place your egg or decoration in the middle of the folded napkin, then lift the two remaining left and right corners together
- Tie string or a ribbon into a bow just above the egg and allow the napkin bunny ears to flop either side
No spring table would be complete without bountiful fresh flowers. Here we have used ranunculus, for their dizzying colours and sculptural twists. We have plenty of floral options available in store, and creating a display such as this is easy with the help of a trusty kenzan, or flower frog.
