Returns and Guarantee

We offer all website products on a sale or return basis within 14 days of receipt. If for any reason you are not completely happy with any of the products supplied, we will either replace them or provide a full refund providing they are returned to us in their original condition.

We are happy to pay delivery and return carriage costs for any defective items that need to be returned to us. However for any items returned for other reasons, our standard carriage charges will apply on both delivery and return. Returns can be made by the same carrier making your delivery or an alternative carrier of your choice should this be more convenient for you. To ensure safe return of your goods please ensure they are wrapped and packed securely, ideally in the same box or package you received the goods in.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights in any way.

You may also return your goods to your local Burford store. Please ensure you bring a copy of your receipt with you. If the item is a gift and you do not have the receipt please bring the name and address of the purchaser with you. We regret we can only offer an exchange or gift vouchers against gift purchase returns and will be made at the current selling price for each item.

Delivery

We will always aim to despatch your purchases within 48 hours of receiving your order. Our carriers will in turn aim to deliver your goods within a further 72 hours of collection, often sooner. If for any reason your goods will be delayed we will contact you by the email address you gave us at the time of your order.

At peak shopping times (Christmas for example) we will advertise our 'final shopping times' on the website. This is particularly important if your purchases are for a gift or if you are organising installation with your third party contractors. Please note that we do not accept responsibility for third party contractor charges and we always recommend you await delivery of your purchases before contacting your installers.

Purchases may be delivered to any UK mainland address, providing the card holder provides their registered home address. Please note that card holder details are checked securely by PROTX. For deliveries further afield (Channel Islands, non-mainland UK, continental Europe, USA and Rest of the World) please telephone +44 (0)1993 823117 before making purchases online and we will provide you with a delivery charge quotation.

Charging

Your debit or credit card will be charged at the time of despatch. Prior to despatch you may cancel your order at any time. To find out the status of your order please log in and follow the link to your account.

For bespoke items ordered online a 30% deposit will be taken at the time the order is placed. This deposit is non-refundable if work has already started on your order. The balance of 70% of the order will be charged at the time of despatch.

Prices quoted on this website are in Pounds Sterling and inclusive of prevailing rates of VAT. Discounted items (Sale or Promotions) will show the original selling price and the discounted price alongside.

Age Restrictions

Alcoholic beverages, knives and garden cutting equipment may only be purchased by customers aged 18 years old and over. By ordering such goods you have confirmed that you are aged 18 years or older.

Descriptions and Imagery

Burford Garden Company has taken great care to present every product on this website as accurately as possible. Please note however that slight colour and finish variations do occur naturally with some of products and the images you will see will depend on the individual settings and capabilities of your monitor.

In the event of an error made by Burford Garden Company we reserve the right to withdraw an item from sale. 

Product Availability

We endeavour to make sure all products shown on our website are available at all times. In the event that we have sold out of a particular product we will contact you within 48 hours to ask if you wish to go on to a 'waiting list', select an alternative item or cancel your order.
